“THE HEART & LIGHT OF UHFSA”
WHAT IS UHFSA DILAAB?
UHFSA Dilaab is UHFSA’s official Cultural dance team. It typically performs traditional Filipino folk and tribal dances at showcases such as Isang Mahal hosted by TAMU PhilSA, Cultural Explosion hosted by the UH Council for Cultural Activities, and of course, Goodphil! Dilaab is the Bisaya word for “fire” or “blaze,” embodying the spirit of the team and its passion for Filipino culture. By joining the Cultural dance team, you not only become part of what’s arguably the tightest-knit family in UHFSA, but you also get a taste of what it means to be Filipino.
