The Filipino Student Association was founded in 1983 with the goal of promoting Filipino culture to the students at The University of Houston.
The Filipino Student Association of the University of Houston promotes unity among various students of different backgrounds, not only of Filipino origin, but as a cultural student organization which aims to enhance awareness of the Filipino culture in the university, to foster goodwill and to develop a working relationship with the students of UH and to achieve academic excellence in our fields and endeavors.
WIKANG TAGALOG
Itinatag ang Filipino Student Association noong taóng 1983 na may layuning isulong ang kulturang Pilipino sa mga estudyante sa Unibersidad ng Lungsod Houston.
Isinusulong ng Filipino Student Association sa Unibersidad ng Lungsod Houston ang pagkakaisa bilang organisasyong pang-estudyanteng kultural sa mga estudyante ng iba’t ibang lahi, hindi lamang sa mga Pilipino, upang magbigay-kaalaman tungkol sa kulturang Pilipino sa unibersidad, magbunsod ng kabutihan at gumawa ng mabuting kaugnayan sa mga estudyante ng UH, at makamit ang akademikong kagalingan sa ating mga karera at ambisyon.
